ABOUT ME
I am a Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher. I make jewelry and attune it
to Reiki I am also a rock hound who uses the energy of crystals.
I believe that it is important for me to continue to grow spiritually and learn
every day. I have been actively involved in energy healing since 2005.
My goal as a healer is to help people and animals heal through energy healing,
Reiki and crystals. I work on emotional and physical issues as well as
send Reiki to situations.
Some of my animal work is done as a volunteer at our local Kitten Rescue
shelter. I work with the cats who are physically ill as well as the ones
who need to overcome emotional issues from being abused, abandoned, feral, etc.
in hopes of making them adoptable.
MY STORY
My quest began when my oldest sister (Darlene) was hospitalized with pneumonia,
the doctors' thought that she would not survive; I went back to my hometown to
see her. While I was there my youngest sister (Mary) kept telling me about
Reiki as well as crystals. We went to a crystal store and I picked out
several crystals for my husband that I thought might help him as well as some for
Darlene. Darlene did recover and after several months was back to better
health. Meanwhile I returned home to my husband and gave him the crystals
that I had bought for him. He had been introduced to crystals many years
ago, but at that time just kind of ignored them. It was at this time we
decided to learn more about crystals. So I started searching the phone
book and to our delight we found that we had one of the best crystal stores in
WA just a couple of miles from our house.
I began searching on the Internet to learn all I could about crystals. I
took a shopping list with me to Cove Crystals to make my first purchase, a few
crystals for each chakra. I got to know the woman who was there on Sundays
(Diana) and found out that she was a Reiki Master. She helped me pick out
my stones and we would talk.
I was working with a couple of people who were also interested in energy
healing. One of them knew of a Jin Shin Jyutsu (acupressure) class that
was being offered. The three of us attended the class. Before the
class I was allergic to many things and had to take allergy medicine daily and
my nose still ran. I practiced faithfully daily for a period of time and
believe because of the energy work I became allergy free.
I then pursued becoming a Reiki Practitioner. Diana attuned me to First
Level Reiki and I was off and running. I offered to practice on all my
friends and of course my husband and our animals got plenty of Reiki. I
felt that I need to go further to help people with both their emotional and
spiritual issues in addition to the physical. Most of my family lived far
away, so I could not help heal them as a Level 1 Practitioner. Diana then
attuned me to Second Level Reiki and I then was sending Reiki long distance to
all my family members as well as situations.
In the meantime my husband was seeing that Reiki was of benefit to his life and
became interested in also becoming a Reiki Practitioner. Diana attuned him
to Level 1 Reiki. One week later Diana attuned me to Reiki Master. I
continue to use Reiki daily for situations and to send healing to friends and
family. I have since attuned my husband to Second Level and Master Level.
I have always enjoyed creating things with my hands. I started making
semi-precious stone jewelry for presents for my family, but coworkers would see
it and asked me to make them some. I got the idea to attune my jewelry to
Reiki to enhance the healing properties of the crystals. So I did an
experiment with some people I work with, I attuned several agates to different
things and give them to my guinea pigs; they did not know what they were attuned
to. Surprisingly the feedback that I received was pretty accurate, that is
how my Reiki attuned jewelry was born.
I participated in several metaphysical venues selling my Reiki attuned jewelry
where I met several wonderful and gifted healers and intuitives. I have
also coordinated several Metaphysical fairs. As a Reiki Master and
having learned about how emotions can cause physical symptoms, I feel that I
have much more ability to work on the emotional issues that often cause physical
symptoms or disease.
