WHAT does a REIKI TREATMENT consist of?
You relax, fully dressed laying or seated while I hold my hands on or above you. A full treatment can last an hour or longer depending on the treatment required. I can also do a shorted treatment and only target specific areas. There is no pressure on the body making it ideal for treating all ages and conditions, sometimes hands are held away from the body.
What you may feel differs from person to person and possibly also between different sessions. Receiving Reiki is a very relaxing and soothing experience! The energy flows wherever it is required (spiritually guided) and can normally be felt as a warm sensation or tingling in the body. You may feel heat, a tingling or cold under my hands. This is Reiki energy in action. It could be adding energy, removing excess energy, balancing energy or removing blockages. It is also possible that you experience different emotions or thoughts, which are meant to help you heal.
After a session, your body continues to process healing energy. You might want to drink more water, get more rest. The healing process may cause your body to release toxins so it may heal.
Animals like people can benefit from Reiki. Animals are actually more sensitive to energy than people and once they figure it out are very open to it in most cases. They intuitively know that when I'm doing Reiki on them it is to help them. Just like people, animals can suffer from emotional problems that affect them physically. Reiki can help heal the physical and emotional issues that they may be suffering from.
Treatments for animals can vary, depending on the animal. Some animals love to have hands on them and others prefer to have the hands held at a distance away from them and then there are some who only like the Reiki beamed to them. Animals will let you know when they have had enough. sometimes they will walk away then come back for more. There are even animals that will place a particular area of their body under Reiki hands as they seem to know where they need the Reiki. Treatments can be different from session to session depending on what the animal is willing to accept at that time. Often the Reiki will relax the animal and they may yawn, sign, doze or sleep during the treatment.
WHAT IS CRYSTAL THERAPY?
The use of crystals and stones for protection and healing has been around before Biblical times. Crystal Therapy is also known as "Laying on of stones".
Crystals have vibrational energy and so does our bodies. The crystal vibrations can be used to affect a healing. The crystals are placed on the receivers body as they are laying down to cleanse negative energy, clear and balance chakras, which helps in the healing process.
People are drawn to crystals or stones because the vibration of the stone is of benefit to them. You can choose to add the crystal therapy to your Reiki treatment to enhance it. You can choose the crystals to be used, or you can let my intuition guide me to pick those that would benefit you the most.
